About the role:

As a Software Engineer at Xero, you’ll play an essential role in delivering impactful solutions. You’ll focus on building scalable, reliable software while contributing to team success and collaborating effectively with others.

This is a hands-on, "on the tools" role. You'll play a key role in integrating analytics tools into our ecosystem and building beautiful analytics from the ground up, creating experiences that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for our customers.

What you'll bring with you:

• Proficiency in .NET and React is essential, as these will be core technologies in your day-to-day work.
• Experience in software development, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• A solid understanding of the development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into manageable solutions.
• Familiarity with modern development tools and practices, with exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP being a bonus.
• A growth mindset, eager to learn and improve while contributing to a supportive team environment.
