Description:
The Quality Systems Specialist (QSS) is a people and consumer focused leader who is supportive of an inclusive environment. With direction from the FSQ Manager, the QSS is responsible for the delivery of various project objectives, constantly looking for improvement activities and development of technical competencies across the site.
You'll join the Site Management Team, partnering with key collaborators within a fast-paced environment. You will balance the management of audit plans for the Quality Management System with the coordination of the best working practice in line with Kraft Heinz specifications.
This is a temporary position lasting for a maximum of 12 months.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Keep up-to date with all third-party requirements including BRC, Burger King, Pasteurisation, Kraft Heinz Group Audits and arrange and manage all third-party audits and EHO/TSO visits.
  • Support HACCP/TACCP/VACCP programmes
  • Amend, review and update the documentation within the Food Safety and Quality Manual and the HACCP Manual
  • Ensure that all internal audits are undertaken, completed and closed within agreed timescales. Including managing and supporting the internal audit team.
  • Directs the quality and product safety components of all projects at the site through quality planning and project oversight for compliance to GMP's and other company policies and guidelines.
  • Support the site process and cleaning & sanitation validation programmes
  • Coordinate the implementation of data management platforms
  • Undertake additional work as required by the FSQ Manager and other members of the senior management team.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in food science or equivalent with significant experience in quality and food safety (HACCP Qualifications)
  • Exceptional delivery of Technical standards in a large food manufacturing environment
  • Thorough technical knowledge of quality and food safety
  • Exceptional communication
  • Project Management skills
