Summary of Responsibilities:

We’re looking for an Interconnection Specialist to coordinate the development, negotiation, and administration of customer agreements supporting generation to transmission (G to T), transmission to distribution (T to D), and transmission to transmission (T to T) interconnections.
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll use your bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field to administer, maintain, and continuously improve the processes for new or modified interconnections to ATC. You’ll enhance customer satisfaction by educating customers to foster understanding and agreement, and guiding them through these interconnection processes in compliance with FERC guidelines and MISO requirements. In addition, you’ll develop, manage and administer agreements that support interconnections, including but not limited to agreements for interconnections, project commitments, operations & maintenance, construction, switching, and other applicable business practices. You’ll also monitor performance and compliance, resolve problems, and coordinate agreement modifications as necessary. You’ll build and maintain collaborative relationships with our customers involved in interconnection processes, keep up to date on critical and relevant developments, and lead regular interconnection status updates and issue resolution meetings to ensure effective project coordination between ATC and its interconnection customers.
