Xero’s transfer pricing, tax and accounting teams are responsible for the accuracy and quality assurance of the Group’s intercompany calculations while meeting various tax and financial reporting obligations in accordance with local country requirements. Xero is seeking an experienced Intercompany Accounting Manager to join our Global Finance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation, management, and monitoring of Xero’s transfer pricing policies as set by Xero’s transfer pricing team. This position will ensure that our intercompany transactions align with global transfer pricing regulations, tax strategies, and business objectives, while integrating these policies into our financial systems. The role involves close collaboration with the transfer pricing, tax, the wider finance, and business operations teams globally.
In addition to intercompany management, you will support Xero’s Accounting and Tax teams to establish data capture processes for revenue and expenses relating to new revenue streams to enable reporting (month-end, external financial, and tax).
You’ll report to the GM External Reporting and be part of the Accounting team, which sits within the wider Xero Finance team.

Experience you will bring with you...
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and consolidations in a multinational corporation.
- CA qualified or equivalent certification.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite Oracle, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with business intelligence tooling (e.g. AnaPlan).
- Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and accounting principles related to intercompany transactions in consolidations.
