Zeta Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intellectual Property (IP) Analyst in India to join our dynamic legal team headquartered in the United States. The IP Analyst will primarily work in Zeta’s office located in Bangalore, India. This is a highly cross-functional and collaborative role, requiring strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills. You will play a critical role in managing and protecting the company's intellectual property, with a primary focus on patent-related activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in patent prosecution, managing IP records, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

As a part of our team, your main task will be:

• Schedule and conduct patent harvesting meetings with product and engineering staff to identify and capture new inventions.
• Prepare patent applications for new inventions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Draft and submit office action responses for pending patent applications.
• Communicate with patent examiners on pending patent applications to facilitate the prosecution process.
• Prepare inventor assignments and declarations in compliance with legal standards.
• Manage assignment records using the USPTO's electronic recording service.
• Review patent maintenance records and ensure timely payment of maintenance fees through the USPTO’s online fee portal.
• Docket and manage deadlines for all patent prosecution events to ensure timely submissions and responses.
• Schedule and coordinate invention harvesting and patent counsel meetings.
• File patent applications using the USPTO’s electronic filing system.

Qualifications:

• This is a non-attorney role and does not require a law degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as law, engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
• Certification in intellectual property or patent law is a plus.
• Proven experience in patent prosecution, IP management, or a related field.
• Experience working with engineering and product development teams.
• Must have a full proficiency to speak and write in English.
• Understanding of USPTO procedures and electronic systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
