Job Summary:
The Integrations Application Developer III(API/Azure/Boomi) is responsible for the designing, coding, testing, and analyzing Enterprise Integrations and APIs including research, design, documenting and modifying throughout the production lifecycle. This role is responsible for setting the vision and direction for the Enterprise Integrations teams with best practices and understanding of the vision at CareSource IT. The role will have oversight over Enterprise Integrations and APIs. This role works in close collaboration with architects, will work on establishing and ensuring coding standards and practices, robust and reliable system design, and architecting (design patterns, infra needs for reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
Essential Functions:
- Analyze, Design, code and test software through the production lifecycle according to functional/technical specifications that meet business requirements
- Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing software for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
- Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
- Execute on software development and deployment as required based on build specification; strong ability to drive initiatives to closure influencing peers inside and across teams
- Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems
- Perform technical code reviews of peers to ensure that proper coding methodology is being adhered to
- Work within an iterative approach methodology
- Triage and work incident management requests
- Maintain an understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and configuration management
- Applies specialized job knowledge of own job area within a department; may have working knowledge of other related job areas
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or software engineering or equivalent years of relevant work experience required
- Practical experience with Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of advanced Integrations development experience
- Experience leading a development team as a technical lead is preferred
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Be both highly technical and an effective people Influencer
- Deep expertise in application lifecycle management, system integrations, Web services, data modelling, API development (Axway, Boomi), SOAP, XML, REST and Java script
- Deep knowledge of Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure functions, Azure logic apps for app development, Azure SQL DB or Cosmos DB for storage
- Deep knowledge of design, development, and maintaining of integration processes using Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform (processes, routines, and web services)
- Experience with REST, ODATA and SOAP web services
- Extensive experience working with Databricks and Azure Data Factory
- Experience with C# using .net frameworks and .net core.
- Experience working with different architectural styles like Event Drive, CQRS, Micro and Monolith Services.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and operations
- Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
- Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle, especially Agile, Test Driven Development, and Waterfall
- Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies
- Highly self-motivated and directed, technically proficient, highly logical with strong attention to detail and proactive work ethic
- Proven analytical, problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Licensure and Certification:
- Certifications in technical tools and/or programming languages preferred – Azure AZ-204 or AZ-203 or AZ -305 or Boomi Advanced Developer
Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Compensation Range:
$81,400.00 - $130,200.00
