Location: Lakeland, FL (Hybrid)

Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

What does a day in the life of an Analyst look like?

Our System Analysts provide support for all information systems, applications, and technologies for Saddle Creek associates within a thriving warehouse, start-up location, campus or region. Whether it is an established or up and coming location the projects are always evolving or expanding. Do or don’t have intelligent software experience? We got you!

Our integration team serves as the entry point for nearly every client into Saddle Creek’s systems, so attention to detail is paramount! As a rapidly growing company, the needs to grow in a sustainable manner is key! The candidate will have the ability to recognize problems, provide daily support and solutions for all of Data Integration’s systems-based solutions, as well as be involved with some development on small to medium sized projects and be able to work in a team-oriented manner. Finally, the right candidate will need to perform as an effective contributor in a team-oriented environment and accomplishes desired results with a high degree of quality.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support current EDI environment
  • Maintain and enhance existing integration processes
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to support integration processes in accordance with established best practices.
  • Write SQL queries to insert and extract data to/from various systems
  • Document and publish any support processes as they are developed and enhanced
  • Deliver systems integrations and means of interface among divergent and/or competing systems
  • Effectively communicate project status including foreseen obstacles and possible limitations
  • Participate in process improvements by providing innovative ideas to increase customer service, enhance accuracy, and elevate productivity
  • Responsible for playing a key role in interacting with other enterprise systems to drive design and develop system improvements
  • Must bring culture enhancement, contribution, or compliment to the workplace
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service

Must Haves

  • Experience understanding and analyzing different data formats to find errors and solutions.
  • Experience with X12/XML/JSON or other Ecommerce formats/systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Ability to recognize problems and implement systems-based solutions.
  • Perform as an effective contributor in a team-oriented environment and accomplish desired results with a high degree of quality.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to “Learn on-the-fly.”
  • Ability to monitor and recognize productions problems and provide timely support and solutions for all Data Integration’s systems-based solutions as well as escalating to development or other teams as needed.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service while working with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills: presentation, written, and oral.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • Proficient with basic database queries using SQL
  • Possess a strong motivation and ability to learn Data Integration and 3PL processes. 
  • While a strong work/life balance is paramount, there may be times we need you to work a flexible schedule, to include overnight, weekends, holidays and/or off hours support.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science/Computer Information Systems.
  • Experience with Cleo Clarify, Harmony or Cleo Cloud platforms used for data integration (or any integration development platforms)
  • 2-3 years of IT/IS experience and familiarity with data integration concepts related to multiple systems
  • Business industry experience in Logistics including Warehousing and Transportation
  • Prior internship and/or related consulting experience
