We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Testing Coordinator with a strong background in healthcare EMR/EHR systems. Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, document and execute testing strategies as well as testing plans to ensure the quality and functionality of EHR/EMR systems. Skilled in coordinating with cross-functional teams, analyzing testing data, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role will serve as the subject matter expert in the PaceMate LIVE application, product, and EHR/EMR integration offerings, as well as a workflow expert in clinical and billing use cases within the application. The job description requirement for the testing coordinator role entails being customer[1]facing and necessitates a skill set focused on clear and effective communication with clients. Additionally, the individual must excel at collaborating and communicating with other departments and team members who are involved in the project implementation process. The requirement for the testing coordinator role also includes creating and documenting detailed testing plans or scripts for each implementation. The individual must execute these plans promptly, report any risks or deviations from product and integration offerings, and communicate with critical path team members, both internally and externally. Ideally, the employee for this role should possess a strong clinical background or relevant experience in the cardiology space, particularly in device management. This background would be beneficial for understanding the clinical context and intricacies involved in managing medical devices within cardiology, enhancing their effectiveness in the testing coordination role.

ESSENTIAL SKILLSs:
- Proficient in healthcare EMR/EHR systems, such as key systems: Epic, Oracle (Cerner), Athena Meditech, NextGen, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing Testing Plans: Create comprehensive testing plans specific to EHR integration projects, outlining test cases, scenarios, and protocols.
- Executing Testing: Conduct thorough testing of EHR integrations to ensure proper functionality and data exchange between systems.
- Documenting Test Results: Record and document test results, issues, and deviations encountered during integration testing for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Collaborating with Teams: Work closely with IT teams, EHR vendors, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to coordinate testing activities and ensure smooth integration processes.
- Identifying Risks: Identify and communicate any risks or potential issues that may impact the EHR integration process or system functionality.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, outcomes, and any challenges to relevant team members and project stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot integration issues, work with technical teams to resolve them, and retest solutions to ensure successful EHR integration.
- Adhering to Compliance: Ensure that EHR integration testing processes comply with regulatory requirements, security standards, and data privacy regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement in testing processes and contribute to enhancing overall EHR integration quality.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with client and other PaceMate team members included in the project scope and client contact
- Support the Integration project team, including the technical (integration) project manager, and/or integration analyst in testing product enhancements via Postman testing, HL7 file spec finalization, NON-PROD testing, YouTrack ticket, project testing documentation, and internal education, as needed
- Other assigned tasks as determined by leadership or team leader

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information technology, Computer Science, or in an area of specialty is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience, as approved by the department director.
- EHR Integration Experience: Previous experience with EHR (example: Epic, Athena, Cerner, etc.) integration projects, especially in the context of cardiology software, is required. Understanding the nuances of cardiology data, workflows, and terminology is crucial.
- Cardiology Background: Strong knowledge of cardiology terminology, procedures, and clinical workflows is essential. Experience working in a cardiology practice or healthcare setting specializing in cardiology can be valuable.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with EHR systems commonly used in cardiology, such as systems that support cardiology-specific templates, imaging, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans. Interoperability Knowledge: Understanding of interoperability standards and protocols relevant to healthcare data exchange, such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and others.
- Project Management: Experience in project management or coordination roles, particularly in healthcare IT projects related to EHR integrations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of healthcare regulations, especially those related to data privacy (HIPAA), security, and quality reporting as they pertain to cardiology software and EHR
- integration.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clinical staff, IT professionals, vendors, and other stakeholders involved in EHR integration projects.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION:
- Healthcare Certification: Having certifications in healthcare IT, healthcare information management, or specific EHR systems commonly used in cardiology settings is advantageous.
- Specialized degrees or certifications related to cardiology or cardiovascular technology are beneficial.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Position is primarily a remote-based role however travel may be expected on a pre-planned basis as determined by the manager / leadership team. Travel is estimated to be less than 20%.
Examples of required travel may include, but are not limited to:
1) new hire or team training (estimated 2-3 business days in person meetings outside of travel time) during onboarding
2) PaceMate in person team meetings (estimated annually or twice annually)
3) Sales meeting for an onsite sales client visit (typically 1 business day for meeting plus travel time)
4) Industry conference meetings, such as HRS or EHR-vendor conference sessions (length based on conference session)
