POSITION OVERVIEW

The Integration Program Manager assists e2open customers and partners with integrating their systems using Business to Business (B2B) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Application Program Interface (API) technologies. This includes working with stakeholders to gather requirements, developing and executing integration plans, testing and deploying integrations, and supplying support to customers and partners during the integration process including contributing to customer meetings as required. Also, the role manages a variety of implementation projects across multiple platforms. Leads customer meetings to provide status reports and to highlight and discuss any escalations as required.


RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Develop and execute B2B integration plans
  • Test and deploy B2B integrations
  • Collaborate with global customers on B2B integration projects involving B2B EDI payloads such as ASC X12, EDIFACT, RosettaNet, XML, and JSON, and connectivity protocols such as sFTP, AS2, REST, RosettaNet, etc.
  • Read / interpret EDI specifications and related mapping guidelines and technical documents
  • Perform analysis of EDI messages and troubleshoot connectivity issues
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and develop strong relationships
  • Provide regular project updates, on a pre-agreed cadence, to relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Keep official records up to date with all progress
  • Maintain and support projects during the post-implementation phase, including post-production support (hypercare.)
  • Work as part of a global team
  • Able to participate in occasional off-hours on-line meetings to accommodate other global time zones
  • Work with other teams to ensure that integrations are aligned with business goals
  • Stay up to date on the latest B2B integration technologies and best practices
  • Work as part of a global team to develop and maintain open and effective 'customer focused' relationships with colleagues in Sales, Legal, R&D, Global Infrastructure, Finance and Customer Support departments
  • Other responsibilities or tasks that are within your skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Educated to Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, desirable
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a software implementation environment
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in supply chain or a relevant business domain.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of integration techniques
  • Experience of operating within a supply chain environment, advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Required to be able to quickly learn modern technologies
  • Experience with security best practices
  • Experience in relevant vertical markets, supply chain management, freight transportation logistics (ocean, road, air, parcel) preferred
  • Basic conceptual knowledge of EDI systems and integration platforms, ability in EDI standards and protocols, and a basic understanding of system integration methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) essential

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
    • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
    • Placing and receiving phone calls
    • Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds
    • May require travel as needed.
