Job Summary:
The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrated systems that combine hardware, software, and network components to meet organizational or client needs. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, enhance system performance, and troubleshoot any issues during the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a problem-solver, and has a deep understanding of systems architecture and integration techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop system integration solutions based on client or organizational requirements.
• Analyze and define system interfaces, data flow, and interoperability requirements.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers to integrate various components effectively.
• Test and validate integrated systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Identify and troubleshoot integration-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration plans, workflows, and user guides.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and best practices.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support during deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
• 3+ of experience in system integration, software engineering, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with system integration tools, technologies, and frameworks.
Skills:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and middleware solutions.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of network protocols, security practices, and system architecture.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Certification in relevant areas (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
