Job Description
- Identifies and manage interfaces between various project components, ensuring smooth integration.
- Mitigates risks associated with interface points and develops contingency plans.
- Ensures that interface agreements are established between teams, clearly defining responsibilities and expectations (RACI Matrix).
- Develops and implements a comprehensive integration strategy for the city-wide infrastructure project.
- Works closely with designers (LDI and LDCs).
- Collaborates with project teams to define integration points and dependencies.
- Develops the Interface Management Plan including RACI Matrix, Risk Register and Communication protocols.
- Identifies and managing key risks related to interfaces is a critical aspect of their work.
- Ensures that the interface management process functions effectively within the project area.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Fosters collaboration among different departments, agencies, and contractors involved in the project.
- Handles and resolves interface issues to avoid delays and budget increase.
- Identifies and manages interfaces between various project components, ensuring smooth integration.
- Works closely with technical teams to ensure that integration solutions meet project specifications and standards.
Qualifications
- 15 years’ of relevant experience with knowledge in roads, wet and dry utilities power generation and distribution, and water resource management.
- Proven experience in interface management for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimal 15 years of engineering experience with at least 7 years in project management
- Proven work experience as an Interface Manager or similar role
- Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
- Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management personnel.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems.
- Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate effectively both spoken and in written English. Knowledge of Arabic language is preferred, but not required
- Experience in coordination with all government authorities, consultants, contractors and disciplines,
- Professional Engineer (PE/PEng/Chartered Engineer) registration is preferred.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in the Middle East is preferred, but not required.
- Auto-Cad, Civil 3D, MicroStation, MS office, Spreadsheet, Aconex, Land development is a plus.
