The Integrated Communications Manager will manage external and integrated communications for a variety of business lines at WSFS. This role will develop, deliver, and drive strategic communications and execute media campaigns to increase awareness and consideration for WSFS. The incumbent will partner throughout the organization to create integrated communications plans that have a paid, earned, shared and owned components (PESO).

                                                                                                                                             

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand the PESO model to build communications campaigns.
  • Supports social media content.
  • Manage multiple business relationships in the consumer bank and can influence and have a seat at the table.
  • Handle media relations training of executives and handling media briefs and interviews.
  • Have relationships with national and local business and lifestyle media.
  • Provide support to the Director of Communications with reputation management.
  • Partner with the product team to manage and meet the needs of the business lines they support through strategy development, communications planning, writing and editing.
  • Support content for monthly newsletters.
  • Cultivate relationships with reporters and other media professionals and evaluate opportunities locally and nationally.
  • Manage the media to help shape and drive the WSFS story on various levels and through various channels.
  • Support a variety of high visibility strategic communications projects including the development of talking points, thought leadership and press releases.
  • Drive content marketing and thought leadership for their line of business.
  • Editor for the team’s content.
  • Manage Cision platform and monitoring for news coverage.
  • Create a weekly news report.
  • Support team metrics program and works on recap reports for campaigns.
  • Responsible for maintaining current knowledge and adhering to all bank policies and procedures, within the scope of their job, to ensure compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in communications, marketing, journalism, or an advertising agency. This individual should have financial services and integrated communications experience.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, drive forward key initiatives and manage workflow on simultaneous projects.
  • Must be a creative and self-motivated individual who works collaboratively in a high performance, team environment.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communications skills. 
  • Must have good presentation and listening skills.
  • Must have excellent editorial skills and an understanding of the various channels and types of content that is possible.                                             
  • Must have outstanding problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have the ability to anticipate and/or react to market changes or opportunities in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Must have experience managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment including leading events of various size and scope.
  • Must have a solid foundation in communications measurement.
