This role provides commercial lines support by issuing certificates of insurance and other tasks for Account Managers.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Proficiently use agency management and document systems
  • Issue certificates of insurance under direction of Account Manager
  • Issue evidences of property insurance under direction of Account Manager
  • Issue certificates of property insurance under direction of Account Manager
  • Take certificate request calls from insureds, closing agents, lenders
  • Issue renewal certificates by renewal date
  • Adhere to a 24-hour turnaround for individual certificate requests
  • Verify coverage and special wording requests with the Account Manager
  • Utilize Image Right Tasks to track certificates
  • Forward copies of certificates to carriers if required

Required

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Attention to detail

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good organizational skills

  • Experience with personal computers and related software (Word, Excel)

  • Ability to obtain Customer Representative License (4-40)
