Your Role:
As an Insurance Analyst III, you will support the overall business strategy by performing analysis and providing insights and reporting for various divisions within CSAA. You will also be responsible for formulating solutions and recommendations to complex business problems and processes. You will have the opportunity to participate in large projects, lead smaller projects, and mentor and train other Insurance Analysts within our data community.
Your Work:

Performs complex analysis of data for assigned client groups (i.e., Product and Actuarial teams) and how it relates to overall business objectives. Research includes enlisting the collaboration of different departments and gaining their support on findings and action plan.

Applies knowledge gained from involvement in broader issues to make recommendations for procedure development and analysis needed for securing desired solution.

Prepares findings and recommendations for clients and may be co-presenter to senior leaders. May review work of less seasoned staff for accuracy, logic and appropriateness.

Develops and may act as coach on processes for reporting out information to clients and makes recommendations on efficiencies and solutions.
Required Experience, Education and Skills:
-
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of related experience in data analytics required.

Superior research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills with ability to structure and conduct analyses.
-
Adaptability and capability in multi-tasking and strong time management.
-
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop and present effective formal presentations in MS PowerPoint.

Ability to coach and mentor co-workers and give feedback as required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Snowflake, Power BI and various structured analysis and design techniques.

Comfort explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience creating simulation models using AnyLogic.

Advanced degree in related field and/or CPCU designation or actuarial exam progress.

Experience in insurance product management or actuarial roles.

Shows respect for differences through excellent communication skills with people from an array of backgrounds.

The national average salary range for this position is $99,810.00 - $110,900.00 annual. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $89,910.00 - $133,200.00 annual. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 8% of eligible pay.
