Develops dynamic learning content, videos, and other assets to support company training and communication. Collaborates with Learning Managers and subject matter experts to ensure assets are engaging, innovative, and meet learning and communication objectives accurately.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Development
- Creates solutions with a blended approach, including classroom instructor-led courses, virtual instructor-led courses, asynchronous learning modules, videos, job aids, leader / participant guides, learning / communication assets, and multimedia production
- Partners with subject matter experts and Learning Managers to develop appropriate course content
- Conducts filming, still photography, and other asset sourcing, when necessary
- Monitors project and deliverables and keeps all stakeholders informed
- Maintains and updates courses as well as written material
- May support translation of course material into other languages, primarily Spanish and Canadian French
Project Management
- Partners with Learning Managers to develop programs involving assets spanning multiple development modalities
- Maintains strong relationships with multiple clients during analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluations and maintenance of learning programs
- Consults with Learning Managers at early stages of projects to select asset development options that fit within time, budget, and delivery constraints
- Tracks/updates work progress through applicable project management tools

MINIMUM Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or two years minimum directly related work experience
Experience
- Two (2) years’ experience in instructional and web-based design/development and/or video production
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Superior communication and facilitation skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint), and Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Pr, AE, Il, Ps, Au)
- Knowledge of both Lectora and Captivate, and / or other SCORM compliant authoring tools
- Knowledge of base videography techniques as needed
- Ability to travel as needed
Work CONDITIONS
Work Environment
- Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
- Limited outdoor work for video / photography
- Limited amount of local and/or multiple location traveling required
- Comply with dress code policy based on work location
- Hybrid working environment with at least 50% of time in office
Work Postures
- Occasional continuous periods of time standing, up 6 hours per day
- Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 8 hours per day
- Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently
Physical Demands
- Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage, video and audio editing
- Limited lifting of less than 50 pounds
Work Hours
- Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises
- Travel up to 15%
