What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Manager of Insider Risk Operations in our Security and Resiliency Organization (SRO) team. You will work with our Global Insider Risk program to deliver prevention, detection, and responsible capabilities. You will lead and mentor a team of insider risk analysts and data engineers to ensure effective risk management and operational excellence and Confirm and Develop Policies: Review and refine policies related to insider risk, including internal and external requirements, accountability and enforcement guidelines, BYOD rules, social media, web surfing, work material transfer, remote access, passwords, privileged access, and termination policies. Develop comprehensive policies and guidelines tailored for the insider risk team.


You will:

  • Develop Processes: Create and enhance training and awareness programs. Develop and standardize processes for the insider risk team, including alert evaluation criteria, reporting structures, response protocols, and remediation steps.

  • Assess and Implement Technology: Evaluate existing technology capabilities and identify gaps. Establish baselines for normal network and device behavior. Oversee the implementation and optimization of user behavior monitoring and analytic tools.

  • Audit and Monitor: Continuously monitor and respond to suspicious or disruptive behavior. Manage user behavior analytics to proactively address potential insider threats

  • Reporting and Metrics: Establish and oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting of team progress and operational successes. Create and manage Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the insider risk program and ensure alignment with organizational goals

  • Communicate and Collaborate: Engage with key stakeholders, risk and ethics committees, and peer organizations to align strategies, share insights, and ensure that the insider risk program supports broader organizational objectives. Foster strong relationships to enhance collaboration and communication across all levels

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more insider threat/risk models and program structures, such as Carnegie Mellon’s SEI Insider Threat program

  • Extensive experience with user activity monitoring (UAM) and user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) platforms

  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and build relationships across global teams and management levels

  • Strategic thinker with a track record of solving complex problems and influencing risk-based decision-making

  • The position requires United States Citizenship


Desirable Requirements

  • Previous experience as a people manager in a large multinational corporation, with a deep understanding of program management within the Cybersecurity Insider Risk domain. Proven ability to plan, identify stakeholders, and develop a successful program and team.

  • Previous experience within the digital forensics and investigation domain.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $183,600 - $237,600.
