Job Duties:

  • Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services
  • Convert lost opportunities to sales from technicians’ invoices and sales representatives’ proposals
  • Following up with customers who have outstanding plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling needs/estimates to get them on the schedule
  • Get potential customers excited about the company and encourage them to spread the word
  • Become an expert in your market area, know the customer needs
  • Help set aggressive sales plans, propose expansions
  • Completing all necessary paperwork
  • Familiar with local codes and can speak to company product lines
  • Develop key client relationships, negotiating and closing deals
  • Participate in Nexstar training so that you grow and develop as a professional
  • Maintain and update our customer database with complete and accurate information
  • Be familiar with all resources available: financing, discounting, promotions, incentives, etc.
  • Contact prospective customers via telephone, SMS (text), and email
  • Conduct market research to develop warm leads
  • Vet lead list for warm and cold leads and identify prospects that fit the target demographic
  • Use product knowledge to showcase the solutions that our company can offer to prospects
  • Upsell additional products as need arises
  • Report weekly sales goals and objectives to Call Center Director
  • Negotiate price with clients who are interested in making bulk orders

What you need:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Proven track record in sales, customer service, and persistent follow up.
  • Experience working in the home services industry preferred
  • Multitask by completing phone and computer work simultaneously
  • Capability to type at least 40 WPM
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
  • Clear, kind, and energetic phone presence
  • Ability to work fast paced and remain organized
  • Must be a U.S. Resident
