You will use your sales skills to build relationships, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions that help children succeed in their literacy journey. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Partnership Manager to join our team. This role focuses on establishing and nurturing relationships, with districts, elementary schools, newcomer programs, achieving territory growth and expanding resources with current customers.  The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our decodable books, specifically designed to support diverse learners in developing strong reading skills. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for advancing literacy education across various educational levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and target key districts within a given territory for partnership opportunities.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
    • Present and demonstrate the value of our decodable books to program administrators and educators.
    • Negotiate and close sales agreements..
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Provide ongoing support and customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for current and prospective partners.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales materials and promotional strategies.
    • Collaborate with the outside sales team to ensure clear communication within a territory.
    • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to network and promote our products.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track and report on sales performance and partnership progress.
    • Analyze market trends and feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Effectively use CRM to accurately track territory progress, key KPI’s, pipeline management and revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Bilingual, Spanish. 
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of Science of Reading and the English language Arts market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Google platform.
  • Willingness to do limited travel as needed to attend selective conferences/events.
