About the Role
As an Inside Sales Manager you will be a customer advocate and strengthen existing customer relationships through outbound calls and emails. As a representative of Harman’s industry leading Pro AV brands, you will have the opportunity to own the business relationship on selected customer accounts and play a crucial role in driving revenue growth within the Midwest territory. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of professional audio-visual products and solutions, a passion for building strong customer relationships, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Your Team
This role will report directly to the Director of Sales while working with the Territory Sales Managers and Independent Sales Representatives.
What You Will Do

Manage CRM opportunities, sales, open service tickets

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by working with Harman customers, partners, and internal stakeholders and Independent Sales Representatives.

Identify new business opportunities to expand our customer base, and nurture existing accounts to drive customer loyalty and repeat business.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pre-sales, post-sales, and technical support, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementations.

Conduct regular sales forecasting, analysis, and reporting to provide accurate visibility on regional performance.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge

Manage the daily backlog report

Perform other duties as assigned
What You Need
-
2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales

Understanding of Pro AV, IT, and/or Collaboration technologies

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

CRM system knowledge, such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce

Passion for learning and selling technical solutions

Customer-centric mindset

Strong written and oral communication skills
What is Nice to Have

Associate degree or higher in business management or a related field

Prior experience in the sale, or support of sale, of Pro AV equipment

Experience working in a large matrix organization with diverse teams and cultures
What Makes You Eligible

This role is eligible to work remotely, ideally in the Midwest, preferably in Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota. Or full-time with option to work out of the Northridge, CA or Richardson, TX office locations.

Salary Ranges:
$ 76,500 - $ 112,200
