The Opportunity
As an Infrastructure PM, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing IT Hosting projects to meet organizational goals. Develops, executes and manages IS Hosting projects within the defined scope.
What You’ll Work On
- Ensure IS Hosting applications and products are in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Communicates and works with IT management and teams to establish project deliverables, business cases and reporting.
- Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects working with division or IT management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution.
- Ensures and measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.
- Leads project and teams in developing and executing a program plan ensuring that authorized resources are obtained to make certain that all activities are performed. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders.
- Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Project Team, Division, Cross Division and Management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues.
- Coordinate resources to ensure program and business needs are addressed through proactive priority management with business leaders.
Position Accountability / Scope
- Leads IS Hosting Projects that consist of approximately 3 to 5 projects such as File Share Remediation, Cyber Security, Audit Compliance and Data Center / Physical Infrastructure projects.
- In addition to maintain the IS Hosting application and file share inventory to ensure compliance with Abbott policies.
- Provides timely feedback that can impact program decisions to ensure program meets its deliverables.
- No direct budget but oversees program that are accountable for $1MM to $5MM in Capital and $0.5MM to $1MM Project Expense.
Required Qualifications/Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience:
- At least 8 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years managing IT infrastructure projects.
- Technical infrastructure understanding preferably in Networking, WAN, LAN, etc.
- Strong experience or understanding of Hyper converge/ Storage (SAN) - Windows/Unix/Linux, etc
- Experience with various servers (Dell/COHESITY/ Pure), backups, data centers and tools like Big Panda/Ansible/ Logic Monitor, etc.
Supervisory Responsibility:1 to 3 Indirect Staff

The base pay for this position is
$97,300.00 – $194,700.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
