Infrastructure Architect with OpenShift

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain architectural diagrams and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to deliver solutions that align with business objectives, prioritize technology initiatives, and foster innovation.
• Lead strategic road-mapping sessions with clients to define technology direction and opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring best practices and quality standards are met.
• Oversee project delivery teams, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables with the expected level of quality.
• Proactively identify risks and vulnerabilities in existing technology systems and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Participate in discovery calls and create Statements of Work (SOW) tailored to their area of expertise.
• Manage team task allocation to ensure optimal use of resources and maintain project momentum.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project leadership within a customer-facing role at a service-oriented company, with a strong ability to understand customer needs, build trusted relationships, and deliver outstanding service.
• Demonstrated background as a Solutions Architect leading infrastructure modernization projects—including virtualization, container adoption, cloud adoption, and multi-cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with a broad range of technologies including hardware, networking, Cisco, VMware, OpenShift, DevOps practices, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and infrastructure architecture best practices.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), delivery and team management, requirements gathering, and quality assurance processes.
