Your mission 👇
Reporting to the OPS Team Lead, you will join a team of engaged and curious individuals that share a passion for scaling an hybrid infrastructure and ensuring high availability in a fast-growth context!
What you'll do ✏️
- Grow and maintain Equativ’s worldwide infrastructure. Ensure the effective operation of servers, network, backups and security (3000+ servers on 7 DC including 2 on-premise in Paris, 5 managed in Amsterdam, Gravelines, Los Angeles, Washington, Singapore)
- Automating frequent network / server operations
- Handling existing or new middleware technical stacks configuration
- Monitoring key system metrics of the platform
- Participate to the platform transformation by leveraging public cloud and/or managed hosting for strategic R&D projects
- Push your ideas on any new projects (cloud, network optimizations, cost reductions…)
About you 💪
- You graduated from a Master Degree in Computer Science (systems, network, security)
- You have 3+ years’ experience as a Linux System Engineer, ideally in a demanding production environment based on high availability and performance
- You already have a first experience in cloud or remotely managed datacenter handling like server provisioning (Terraform / Foreman / PXE) and supervision (Prometheus / Grafana)
- You are comfortable with virtualisation (proxmox)
- You have experience in networking stack : Firewalling (pfsense / opnsense, iptables), LB (haproxy) and L2/L3 protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing…)
- You demonstrated ability and interest in working in an Agile environment and on configuration management technologies such as Ansible
- You are proficient with Python
- You have experience with public cloud management through DevOps principles / automate everywhere
- You are at ease prioritizing tasks and you are a hands-on problem-solver
- Fluent English is required
