About the role
At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, the Information Technology Specialist is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all multi-user computer systems and personal computers in the Residence Club, providing day-to-day computer support such as installing software and updates.
What you will do
-
Work on-call in the absence of the Director of Information Technology.

Create/delete account rights for all systems.
-
Multitask and prioritize multiple requests at any given time.
-
Process all incoming Help Desk support requests, quickly addressing and resolving Help Desk tickets.
-
Open tickets with support vendors and follow through to resolve issues.
-
Provide support for those first level calls and escalate those requiring additional assistance.
-
Assist with file sharing, user rights controls, virtual servers, network layout/distribution, and windows installation and configuration.

Provide anti-virus and web filtering management.
-
Assist guests and employees with technology needs on the phone or property including installation of guest room and employee cafeteria TV/laptop hook up and telephone management.

Assist with troubleshooting of the copy machines including contacting maintenance and repair service attendant, when necessary.

Perform preventative maintenance on PC equipment and HP printers.
-
Process confidential information without compromising the nature of the material or information.
-
Offer end user support for office O365, Azure, Windows 10/11, industry specific applications.

Audit Workstation software and update and service pack installation.
-
Log and update inventory of software licenses and hardware assets of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Ensure a par stock of supplies.

Support remote workers with connection and credentials.
-
Support of mobile devices.
-
Contact and follow up with vendors.
-
In the absence of the Purchasing Manager, assist with receiving and shipping.
-
Respond properly in any Residence Club emergency or safety situation.
-
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Residence Club management.
What you bring
-
Must have commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures as they relate to Data Processing, PCI compliance, and LAN standardizations set forth in our IT core standards.

Valid California Driver’s License.
-
Well versed in PMS, POS, Saflok Key Systems, PBX, Call Accounting and CCTV systems. A solid understanding of PCI Security Standards and be able to implement best practices.

Effective and succinct written and verbal communication skills with a pro-active and inquisitive mind set to develop problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution and strategic thinking skills.

Comp TIA A+/Network+ Certification preferred.
