THE POSITION
At Keyera, we’re seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Information Analyst (recent post-secondary graduate) to join our Information Management team. In this role, you'll address IM-related requests, primarily focusing on SharePoint and Teams, by managing operational tickets, training users, and documenting requirements. You'll also lead small projects, such as gathering business requirements to design and implement customized SharePoint sites that enhance how our business groups collaborate. While the position presents exciting challenges, you'll be supported by an experienced team dedicated to your growth and success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in information/data management systems and technologies evaluation, design, configuration, and testing.
- Collaborate with Solution Analysts to appropriately define, configure and implement the underlying M365 content management solutions, including libraries, document/content types, metadata and taxonomies, selection lists, metadata navigation, views, Power Automate flows, security and other characteristics and behaviors of effective Information Management.
- Support the resolution of operational IT tickets related to M365 tools and sites, including troubleshooting user issues, one on one support, and implementing approved design changes.
- Support the development and improvement of Information Management standards, processes, including gap analysis, future-state planning, and the integration of best practices, while creating procedures, and educational materials to enable sustainable knowledge management.
- Lead document and data migration initiatives by eliciting and validating business requirements, coordinating with stakeholders on solution design, facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT), and supporting implementation, information capture, transition, and system decommissioning.
- Aid the preparation and delivery of M365 tools and system demonstrations through training, presentations, articles, and documentation to stakeholders to validate business approaches.
- Support the life-cycle management processes of corporate data and information, including the annual electronic and hardcopy disposition of records.
- Aid in M365 content management and compliance audits and performance monitoring/reporting activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Library & Information Technology, or possess equivalent post-secondary education combined with relevant knowledge and/or experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following: information systems, website design, solution development or related field through relevant internships, academic projects, or co-op placements will be considered.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly language.
- Enjoys working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Strong writing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, and able to work independently while leveraging support and collaboration from a knowledgeable team.
- Prior use of SharePoint and experience configuring libraries, content types, document sets, managed metadata, views, and flows would be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with requirements elicitation and documentation, creating process flows and use cases to properly articulate processes and strategies for the implementation of data and information systems would be considered an asset.
- Interest in or understanding of the Midstream industry would be considered an asset.
