Influencer Manager (Korean speaking)

Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients in the Tech industry.

We are seeking a driven and creative Influencer Manager to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will be a key player in supporting the execution of influencer marketing campaigns to elevate our client’s brand presence and achieve their marketing goals. You will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with relevant influencers, supporting campaigns, and analysing performance to ensure maximum impact.

Role: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for South Korea's advocate program, aligning with client briefs and overarching objectives.
  • Drive Influencer marketing efforts, both always-on and for campaigns, managing collaboration with the global and local teams, including influencer identification, measurement and optimisation
  • Lead end-to-end management of influencer advocate programs across markets. This includes:
    • Sourcing and vetting brand advocates based on established Content Creator Guidelines and budgetary constraints.
    • Managing all advocate outreach and day-to-day communication.
    • Conducting fee negotiations, overseeing advocate program onboarding, and delivering guidelines and monthly content briefings.
  • Managing advocate’s deliverables and content calendar, including establishing clear deadlines and communicating them effectively to advocates to ensure timely delivery of all content deliverables.
  • Collaborate with advocates to analyse and optimise content performance through regular performance reviews, feedback sessions, and sharing best practices.
  • Develop monthly content topics for advocate briefings, ensuring alignment with overall campaign objectives, incorporating key travel moments relevant to the target audience, and considering market-specific cultural nuances and trends to maximise engagement and impact.
  • Generate and deliver monthly reports and analytics, following provided guidelines to optimise program effectiveness.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in tech, marketing, or related industries, with a strong focus on influencer campaigns.
  • A passion for social media and content development, with a proven track record of creating engaging influencer content.
  • Ability to communicate effectively—in written and verbal forms—in English and Korean is essential for managing Korean influencers and stakeholders.
  • A strategic and creative thinker who is able to navigate the dynamic social media landscape and develop innovative influencer strategies.
  • Solid project management experience, specifically managing multiple influencer campaigns and deadlines.
  • Proficient understanding of social media analytics and influencer campaign metrics to measure ROI and optimise performance.
  • Ability to bring order and attention to detail to complex influencer campaign stages, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Prior experience with communicating with local and geographically dispersed stakeholders, including influencers, to deliver clear instructions and messaging.
  • Passionate about working as part of a larger team to deliver a common goal, contributing to the overall success of influencer marketing efforts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and Korean language to cover projects across APAC.
