SUPPORTING SALES AT VERIFORCE
The Sales Engineer responsible for promoting and presenting Veriforce’s solutions to prospective and existing customers in a specific Industry. As an Industry Solutions Expert, you will provide strategies, demonstrations and expertise to support to our Sales organization, while guiding the configuration of our solution and services to meet the business needs of our prospective client during the sales process. You will work closely assisting the Sales team with the achievement of sales goals by utilizing your knowledge of our solutions as well as your sales and technical skills to ensure a successful partnership with our Industry Account Executives.
SOME SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Co-facilitate prospective client-facing technical discovery meetings with Industry Account Executives to uncover their current safety and contractor management processes
- Perform demonstrations with prospective clients to promote the sales of our software solutions and compliance platform to an audience that will include all levels of an organization, up to and including C-Suite and Board members.
- Continually maintain an understanding of our position in the marketplace, including a full understanding of competitive solutions.
- Serve as product and industry SME to aid sales training and enablement initiatives.
- Attendance at industry conferences and trade shows to promote our products.
- Collaborate with Product Management regarding product features and changes, serving as a conduit of information from prospects and customers back to the PM team
- Maintain sales reporting information as required
- Assist with technical/product-specific responses to RFPs (requests for proposals) as needed
- Contribute to the creation and set-up of demo environments across our solutions (slides, I-Frame, live instance, and early proof of concept)
- Travel is required as needed
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience focused in a specific industry, performing roles such as: contractor management, contract management, risk management, and/or roles that include MSHA, DOT, PHMSA, HSE, OSHA, Can-OSH, Operator Qualification, and/or related experience
- Oil and Gas, Utilities, Mining, Telecom, Manufacturing and/or high-hazard industry experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Confidence and experience in delivering presentations to prospective end users
- Proven ability to influence key stakeholders
- Aptitude for customer relationship management (CRM) and sales enablement tools
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and use time effectively and efficiently. Demonstrated ability to meet internal and external deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate in a clear, concise and understandable manner.
