Industry Lead – Manufacturing

As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Industry Lead for Manufacturing to join our APJ Go-To-Market (GTM) team.
About The Role:
As the Industry Lead - Manufacturing, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving our strategy for the manufacturing sector. You will work closely with APJ GTM Team, field Sales teams, industry partners, and prospective clients to develop and close new business opportunities, leveraging monday.com’s Work OS platform to address the unique needs and challenges of the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: Directly engage with key manufacturing accounts to develop and implement tailored account strategies, build strong relationships, and present monday.com’s vision and solutions to senior executives.
- Industry Ecosystem Development: Establish and nurture relationships within the manufacturing ecosystem, including customers, partners, and industry leaders, to enhance monday.com’s market presence and influence.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with the APJ GTM Team and marketing teams to create and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the manufacturing sector, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market needs.
- Enablement and Knowledge Sharing: Design and implement an enablement strategy to build deep industry knowledge within the organization. Develop and lead “industry communities of practice” to share insights, best practices, and innovative solutions.
- Product Development Partnership: Work closely with the APJ GTM team to identify and advocate for manufacturing-specific features and enhancements in the product roadmap, ensuring that monday.com’s solutions effectively address industry requirements.
- Marketing and Pipeline Growth: Partner with marketing teams to drive industry awareness, generate leads, and build a strong pipeline for manufacturing solutions through targeted campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.
- Sales Support and Training: Oversee the creation of sales strategies and solutions tailored to the manufacturing industry, providing training and support to sales teams, sales engineers, and customer success teams to optimize engagement and effectiveness.
- Partnership and Alliances: Collaborate with partner and alliance teams to identify, recruit, and enable industry-specific system integrators and ISVs, strengthening monday.com’s partner network within the manufacturing sector.

Requirements
- Industry Experience: 7+ years of experience in SaaS sales, including roles in sales, consulting, or technology implementation. With at least 5+ years in an Enterprise sales closing role. Proven success in managing and expanding complex accounts and portfolios.
- Manufacturing Expertise: In-depth understanding of the manufacturing sector’s challenges and opportunities, with a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge to drive business outcomes and innovation.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with manufacturing technologies, data management, analytics, or business intelligence is highly desirable. Familiarity with monday.com or similar Work OS platforms is a plus.
- Executive Engagement: Proven experience working with C-level executives within the manufacturing industry and the ability to quickly establish credibility and influence senior leadership.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and partners across various regions.
