We're Looking For An: Industrial Engineer Intern to collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and improve processes within our distribution center. You will play a critical role in enhancing efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining a safe and high-quality work environment
Location: Fully onsite in Chatsworth, CA
What You'll Be Doing:

• Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Data Analysis: Collect, interpret, and analyze data related to operational performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Project Management: Support the planning and execution of initiatives aimed at improving productivity and reducing costs.
• Capacity Planning: Assist in forecasting and planning for labor, space, and equipment needs based on volume projections.
• Lean Principles: Identify and eliminate waste in processes using Lean methodologies.
• Equipment Layout: Support the design and reconfiguration of facility layouts to optimize space and workflow.
• Safety and Quality: Collaborate with safety teams to ensure processes align with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Automation Implementation: Evaluate and recommend automation solutions to enhance throughput and accuracy.

Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or related methodologies.
• Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., FlexSim, Arena) or CAD software.
• Knowledge of distribution, fulfillment, or supply chain operations.
• Previous internship or project experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

The base salary range is $17-$20
