As an Indirect Tax Lead - Brazil you will support the specific language requirements. Managing the Brazilian calculation, filing, payment and reconciliation of Indirect Taxes at Global Tax Center.

As an Indirect Tax Lead - Brazil, you will be responsible for:

Handling and oversee all wing-to-wing tax reporting and tax accounting processes to ensure compliance, integrity and transparency.
Forecasting payments and monetization, tax provisions based on aging policy, and settlements.
Reviewing and approval of tax calculations, account reconciliations in Blackline, tax payments, tax compensations, tax return submission and other related tasks.
Advising functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field.
Handling clear communication with direct colleagues and the business stakeholders about projects, issues and risks.
Coordinating tax audit requirements along with Regional Tax Team.
Leading and coordinate projects for improvement in the processes, as well as provide technical guidance to team members.
Developing and grow team members providing guidance, trainings and timely feedback.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a BSc in a related subject or demonstrate, good, equivalent, similar work experience (Finance/ Law).
Have minimum of 7 years of experience in Brazilian Indirect Taxation.
Have ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISSQN, INSS, IRRF and PCC - knowledge about IOF taxes will be an added advantage.
Have experience working at a multinational company/ Big 4 companies.
Have knowledge about systems, processes and technology (SAP, Blackline, Tax One or other).
Have good interpersonal and communication skills, with good spoken and written in Portuguese and English.
