Job Description

  • Managing cutover activities 
  • Developing comprehensive project plans and timelines for the transition projects
  • Coordinating resources, tasks, and activities to ensure projects are executed efficiently and within established parameters 
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment across all projects and its individual phases
  • Facilitating cross-functional meetings, providing guidance and resolving conflicts as needed 
  • Coordinating outage windows and maintenance windows to minimise disruption to business operations, while ensuring that blackout windows are effectively communicated and scheduled to align with stakeholder needs 
  • Identifying potential risks and challenges associated with the transition implementations, and developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively 
  • Establishing and enforcing governance frameworks and forums to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in similar implementation management roles within the Superannuation industry (preferred) or within the broader financial services industry 
  • Experience managing cutover activities within the Superannuation industry (preferred) or within the broader financial services industry 
  • Strong governance skills and exemplary client-facing/stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with adopting relevant project management/implementation management software and related tools including the Atlassian suite
  • Experience with complex multi-vendor programs or projects
