Position Overview
The Implementation Consultant supports the tactical executable tasks for the overall project implementation including requirement/data validation and system configuration for new client implementations. The Implementation Consultant is responsible for defining business requirements, system configuration, functional testing, and migration activities. The Implementation Consultant must have outstanding analytical skills, communication skills, be organized, detail oriented, and flexible. This position will work multiple implementation projects at the same time and across time zones.

Role and Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers, serving as the main technical point of contact and ensuring a successful implementation project
- Collect and review project requirements with customers and work directly with team and customers to determine, design and implement the software solutions
- Act in a consultative capacity, advising customers on best practices and alternative design decisions to support a higher degree of flexibility in future configuration changes, as well as to utilize the capabilities of the software being implemented
- Manage simultaneous software implementations for multiple customers at the same time across multiple time zones
- Keep well-documented requirements gathered from customers and provide weekly updates
- Research and troubleshoot issues and develop solutions for customer requirements
- Handle all migration responsibilities for Go-live
- Coordinate with different teams (DevOps, Production Support, R&D, etc.) in getting a customer environment implementation-ready, UAT-ready and PROD-ready
- Assist with gathering requirements and providing solutions to complex business problems
- Responsible for user acceptance testing activities (UAT) to ensure the successful delivery of the final end solution and all customer business requirements have been successfully achieved
- Ability to translate cell formulas in Excel into VBA code and using Excel-based VBA to design, analyze, test and deploy projects
- Manage & execute data analysis and system configuration during the integration phase
- Execute planned tasks such as system configuration, data loads and functional testing
Ability to Demonstrate Proficiency in the following areas:
- Consulting Knowledge: Independently conducts standard analyses to identify problems in methods, processes, or workflow; interprets results of analyses; recommends solutions to address identified requirements, problems, or inefficiencies
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Integrates a broad knowledge of logistics and supply chains within customer organizations (e.g., product flows, information flows, and finance flows) to solve complex customer problems
- Quantitative Problem Solving: able to analyze data to isolate repeatable patterns and identify an optimal process definition, configure data transformations, and recognize product enhancement opportunities for functions, operators, controls etc.
- SaaS Deployment Knowledge: experience with SaaS integration projects that include requirement gathering, environment setup, configuration, testing and go-live
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science preferred
- Experience in After-Market Services / Logistics / Supply Chain industry desirable
- Requires minimal supervision from a more senior manager; accepts considerable responsibility for project success; effective ability to assist others in the completion of assignments through knowledge sharing
- Proven track record of ability to execute customer program portfolio of projects and services
- Proactive approach to managing customer projects and overall business strategies
- Experienced in leading matrix project/program cross-functional teams in communications processes to drive a proactive accountable service to assigned customer
- Strength in communication at all levels of the corporate hierarchy
- Detail oriented, committed to deadlines and have solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Understand or capable of understanding database and application configuration concepts
- Ability to travel up to 25% on an annual basis, both domestically and internationally
