Job Description

This role offers a starting range of $23 to $25 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

We are seeking Human Resources Designate (HRD) to work at our West Chicago Facility. This position plays a crucial role in working with site managers, ensuring that the organization's human resources are aligned with its strategic objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement HR Policies: Support and enforce HR policies and procedures that align with the company's objectives and comply with legal requirements.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Assist with employee relations issues, resolve conflicts, and address grievances to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Performance Management: Support facility managers with performance appraisal systems, conducting evaluations, and developing strategies to improve employee performance.
  • Training and Development: Organize and conduct training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity, including TPM-related training.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Working with Corporate HR, administer compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • HR Records Management: Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on HR metrics such as turnover and absenteeism.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with business goals and drive organizational growth.
  • TPM Support: Work closely with the TPM teams to support TPM initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive maintenance.
  • Employee Involvement in TPM: Encourage and facilitate employee participation in TPM activities, such as autonomous maintenance and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Benefits, HR Policies
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Labor Laws, HIPAA laws, OSHA and workers comp requirements
  • Shows HR experience, specially in hiring process, training, record keeping, and discipline
  • Have good computer skills, outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office, Math skills, detail oriented
  • Pursue excellent communication and people skills
  •  Have High School diplome or GED plus minimum 2 years HR experience

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Familiarity with employment law
  • Experience in Office Management
