SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst specializing in Power BI to join our Human Resources department.
In this position, you will work towards transforming HR data into actionable insights, facilitating data-driven decision-making across group functions. You will be working closely with key stakeholders in the organization, ensuring data quality, integration, and implementation using HRMS data.
This position will be based in Sandefjord, Norway and will report to Group Vice President - Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration with Data Team: Work closely with the company’s data team to access, integrate, and manage data from various HR systems and sources.

Data Analysis: Conduct analyses to identify trends and patterns; ensure data accuracy through testing and validation.

Reporting and Visualization: Collaborate with HR and other teams to understand reporting requirements; design and develop interactive dashboards in Power BI to present data-driven insights effectively.

Data Presentation: Translate complex data into clear visual representations; present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a meaningful manner.

Ad-Hoc Analysis: Respond to specific business questions through ad-hoc analysis, offering actionable recommendations for HR and business improvement.

Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models to ensure accuracy and integrity; collaborate with IT and other teams for data quality and consistency.

Industry Expertise: Stay updated with the latest trends in data analytics; apply industry advancements to HR analytics.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in an HR-related role.

Experience in data cleansing, data modeling, and data validation techniques.

Proficiency in using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.

Excellent communication skills to convey insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Knowledge of SQL and database management systems is a plus.
