Job Description
The Opportunity:
The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting Human Resources across multiple campuses (US and Canada). This position involves data entry, administrative support, and coordination of various HR-related activities. Additionally, the HR Coordinator will assist in the managing of philanthropy purchases and facilitating campus-wide engagement activities through Human Resources and campus Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Data Entry and Administrative Support: Assist HR leaders across campuses with accurate and timely data entry, maintaining employee records, and providing general administrative support.
- Act as a partner and backup to the HR Coordinator in our El Segundo, CA office.
- Philanthropy Coordination: Manage and coordinate philanthropy purchases and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community impact, including communication of events and coordination of volunteers.
- Campus-Wide Engagement: Plan and execute campus-wide engagement activities in collaboration with Human Resources and various Employee Resource Groups, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing prompt and accurate information to employees and stakeholders.
- Event Planning: Assist in organizing HR events, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across multiple campuses.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of initiative.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people.
- Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
The base hourly rate for this position is between $20 and $23.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
