Job Description
The HR Coord II replacement would be hired to support the HR Manager (Selvi Balakrishnan) in Malaysia, who has responsibility for Thailand, Malaysia, Malaysia Ops, and Philippines.
The current employee in this position has already resigned and last day would be 31 December.
Headcount responsibility has grown from 38 in KL in Oct 2022 to 130 currently, across 4 jurisdictions (Thailand, Philippines, KL, East Malaysia) and between two distinct team models (Ops vs Inbound). This breadth of responsibilities requires navigating multiple regulations, processes, procedures and policies. Currently support is being provided by one HR manager, based in KL.
The Coord II in KL would have admin and support responsibilities across the region, including:
- Local admin related to recruiting, onboarding, document/compliance support, offboarding as needed.
- Comp and benefits, including coordination of leaves (e.g, parental), benefits administration, wellness programming; payroll coordination with finance, support of income tax document preparation, and supporting ad hoc and annual comp review process.
- Responsible for local Workday data integrity, following global processes, completing monthly audits; leave and attendance coordination, and support with ad hoc reports; liaising on regional Workday initiatives.
- Support to regional and global projects locally, including perf mgmt., L&D programs, RBP and DE&I initiatives.
