Samsung SDS America, Inc. is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to support HR operations and workplace management. This role will oversee employee relations, performance management, recruitment coordination, and training while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Additionally, they will manage facility operations, ensure workplace safety compliance, and coordinate company events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to enhancing employee engagement and organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Human Resources (HR) Responsibilities

  • Lead communication and interpretation of HR policies while assisting with the implementation of HR services, policies, and programs.
  • Support & Partner with site management and employees in Coppell, Fort Worth, other TX Distribution Center, and Dallas Team’s locations in other states to improve work relationships, boost morale, and enhance productivity and retention.
  • Oversee the performance management process, guide managers through Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and assist with employee development plans.
  • Provide HR support to managers, offering coaching, feedback, and assistance on HR-related issues.
  • Act as an Employee Liaison, handling employee relations issues, requests, and inquiries.
  • Support employee communications, team meetings, recognition programs, and team-building activities; coordinate and lead employee events.
  • Manage employee orientation, help training logistics process and recordkeeping to ensure compliance and development.
  • Provide accurate and timely HR data, including attendance tracking and productivity reports for management and employees.
  • Oversee the onboarding and off boarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for employees.
  • Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process in collaboration with the internal recruitment team.

General Affairs Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day site management, ensuring employee safety, facility security, and warehouse maintenance.
  • Serve as a liaison between property managers, facilities teams, security, and staff to address site-related needs.
  • Plan and coordinate company events to enhance workplace engagement.

OSHA & Safety Compliance

  • Maintain basic knowledge of OSHA standards (State and Federal) to support compliance.
  • Assist in the implementation, auditing, and maintenance of company safety policies.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols.
  • Identify and implement Good Workplace Practices (GWP) initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of HR experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Excellent computer skills, including a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • General knowledge of various HR practices and procedures
  • Ability to read and analyze procedures and regulations
  • Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • HR experience in warehouse or production environment preferred
  • Ability to travel between warehouse locations: Coppell, Fort Worth, other TX Distribution Center, and Dallas Team’s locations in other states
