Human Resources Administrator
The Human Resources (HR) Administrator contributes to administrative efforts for Workday HCM and Talent Development. This role will include coordinating training courses and conferences, administering our Learning Management System (LMS), and being a supportive member of the HR Operations and Talent Development teams.
Key Responsibilities
The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for, but not be limited to, the following:
- Supports management and maintenance of the Workday system, including configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Maintains documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides both for end-users and the HR Workday team.
- Provides coordination of training event logistics which will include scheduling, assigning, tracking, roster and attendance management, completion reporting, and other duties as assigned to ensure a successful learning event.
- Triage HR tickets and resolve appropriately or direct requests to proper HR point of contact as necessary.
- Support email communications to ensure successful coordination of HR programs.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records in Workday HCM and LMS. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to work within a Learning Management System (LMS) to set up classes, programs, rosters, and pull appropriate reporting data in support of complex training programs and events.
- Researches, identifies, and recommends best practices for process efficiency resulting in positive employee experiences, legal compliance, and internal efficiency.
- Supports ad hoc projects and corporate initiatives as needed.
Skills And Experience
- Demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims
- Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years’ experience in relevant field
- 1-2 years' experience working in HRIS or LMS management
- Human Resources background preferred
- Self-starter with attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Requires fluency in English (written and verbal) for the successful operations of Nordic’s business
- Ability to create reports and analyze data in Excel and similar systems
- Workday and Workday Learning (LMS) knowledge is highly preferred
- LinkedIn Learning administration experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Word, and Excel
