Job Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The HR Intern will focus on specific process improvement projects that directly support the 2025 Magna Strategy and Goals.
Scope of Projects:

  • Recruiting and onboarding process
    • Working on creative ways to increase onboarding efficiencies
    • Processing new hires through the HRIS systems
    • Creating proposals on retention ideas
    • Marketing Magna for different demographics
  • Training
    • Participating in orientation training
    • Presenting the HR slides to new hires
    • Observing production assistant/supervisor meeting on leadership development
    • Creating their own training and presenting to the supervisor
  • Systems Audit/Filing
    • Magna has an annual IFTS internal audit we prepare for
    • Working through the check lists and validating appropriate documentation is included in each personnel file.
    • If documentation is missing, processing the completion to maintain compliance with audit.


Experience and General Skills Required:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Marketing skills that can translate to multiple demographics
  • Creative solutions and critical thinking ability to adapt to multiple challenges
  • Positive interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism at all times


Education Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication, or Business.
  • Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year or enrolled in a graduate program.


Internship Details & Schedule: This is a paid onsite internship to be completed over the summer of 2025. The timetable of this internship is flexible, depending upon candidate needs. Candidates that are seeking full-time employment upon graduation are encouraged to apply.
