About the Position
We are looking for a Human Resource Assistant who is motivated to learn and further develop their Human Resource skills. The Human Resources Assistant is a customer-centric role and shall be primarily responsible for supporting the Human Resources Director on special projects, including performance management. In addition, provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of Human Resource functions including performance management, employee relations, employee engagement and other employee-related matters.
- Maintain strong working relationships with multiple internal departments (HR, Operations, IT, Mangers).
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Assisting in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables for HR projects to develop detailed project plans and timelines.
- Coordinating HR project activities, tracking progress, and identifying potential risks.
- Gathering and analyzing HR data to inform project decisions.
- Creating/running reports on our HRIS platform.
- Provide day-to-day administrative HR support.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in human resources or training or learning & development.
- Ability to lead projects, develop timelines, coordinate project teams and implement action items during the life of a project.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the and attention to detail to manage and streamline the onboarding process efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with employees and key stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with remote and in-office team members.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, establishing cooperative and collaborative working relationships.
- Proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in using HRIS system, preferably Workday.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit, highly collaborative, able to express ideas readily, manage change fluidly, able to influence and identify opportunities.
- Knowledge HR policies and procedures, and employment laws.
Regional Requirements
- Reside in the US, In Market
- Standard business hours 8am to 5pm EST.
