Job title: HSSQE Technical Advisor Barcelona
Intro:
o Provide specialist functional knowledge in support of operationalHealth/Safety/Environment/HSE support to site-based activities.
o Provide guidance, advice, and technical criteria on HSE compliance for the Business Unit.
o Ensure all work requested in audits in Quality is done (Referenciales de puertos, ISOS...).
Principal Accountabilities:
PERFORMANCE/OPERATIONAL
o Assist and support the execution of the Business Unit HSE strategy with responsibilityfor implementation monitoring.
o Providing cross-functional advice and guidance for implementation of siteHealth/Safety/Environment/HSE management requirements
o Prepare and compile Health/Safety/Environment/HSE improvement plans and report onperformance to Health/Safety/Environment/HSE Business Partner withrecommendations for improvement.
o Identify high HSE risk activities and prioritize improvement actions.
o Monitor the availability and quality of risk assessments and safe working proceduresprovided by contractors/vendors.
o Support assurance activities that confirm contractors, suppliers, consultants and visitorscomply with relevant legislation and conform to site HSE standards.
o Participate in a thorough investigation of incidents as required.
o Monitor post-incident improvement actions to confirm that new controls areimplemented and that they are managing the risk
o Get to the work site and learning how different functions plan and execute work.Applying this understanding to the development of the HSE culture
o Influence stakeholders within the business unit to support the decision-making process.
o Provide day-to-day Health/Safety/Environment/HSE advice to local business unit, andassuring that HSE standards and policies are relevant, understood and applied
o Support continuous improvement activities and developing project proposals andbusiness cases to support this as required.
o Lead by example, ensuring compliance with local HSE policies & procedures, enforcingsafe working practices and promoting a safe workplace Verifying that work is completedin compliance with legislation and in conformance of applicable business unit standards;acting when work falls short of these requirements
o Work cross-functional to provide support and guidance on HSE and Risk Managementprograms
