The Position:
Veracyte is seeking a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Manager to be the subject matter expert of Workday, security administration, business process design, compensation setup, end user experience and reporting and analytics. This position is focused on data analysis and compilation and is accountable for the development and distribution of critical reports/dashboards to the organization. This position ensures accurate best practice business process/workflows and other system dependencies are in place within Workday to support the administrators of compensation programs, annual performance reviews, benefits administration and open enrollment, payroll and reporting efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Workday, managing the full-cycle administration, implementation, and maintenance of various functionalities within the Workday platform including Payroll, Benefits Administration, Onboarding, Recruitment, Compliance, Reporting, and Dashboarding.
- Regularly perform data audits and validation and follow up with appropriate teams for corrections in all HR systems. Identify, recommend, and track opportunities for process and operational improvements.
- Strong analytics and project management skills to turn unstructured business issues into action plans that result in meaningful strategic or tactical recommendations.
- Strong expertise and experience working with secondary data, analytics, research, and dashboarding & reporting approach.
- Plan and monitor progress of all external partners working within Workday on initiatives/projects.
- Develop project plans and monitor progress of HRIS initiatives.
- Ability to document business requirements for potential configuration changes within the HRIS.
- Demonstrated use of diagraming tools such as Visio, Draw.io, or other similar .
- Responsible for training the Trainers on Workday system and processes.
- Responsible for updating data and maintaining data integrity in Workday.
- Responsible for all HR reporting and People analytics.
- Demonstrates an ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner. Acts as a role model in demonstrating the customer service standards of the organization.
- Maintains personnel confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to communicate effectively and utilize interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively perform multiple tasks and constantly changing priorities.
- Must be willing/able to travel as required.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of years 8 HR experience with at least 2 years of HRIS experience or currently certified in Workday.
- Experience maintaining strict confidentiality of data and information.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Workday.
- Ability to influence and manage change and deal effectively with change management initiatives.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of the business and integrating the HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business.
- Track record of strong business partnership and cross functional collaboration within a dynamic, fast paced environment; a strategic leader who takes initiative and ownership,
- A good human, interested in driving solutions that will impact Veracyte and the patients we serve.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Veracyte is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

$108,000—$135,000 USD
