About the Role
We are looking for a HRIS Analyst to join our NinjaOne HR team. We are growing our human resources team and want you to bring your expertise in to support the continuation of our global implementation, optimization and management of Dayforce, our global HRIS system. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of HR data. providing actionable insights through reports and analytics, and collaborating with HR and IT to streamline system functionality and user experience. You will also create and manage system integrations, including flat file loads and mass data updates, while maintaining and improving HRIS processes. Additionally, you will play a key role in the continued implementation of Dayforce modules, including compensation management, position management, and performance management, while handling data administration tasks such as auditing, data integrity checks, security processing, and supporting continuous process improvements in alignment with HRIS policies and procedures.
Location - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, ME, MA, NJ, NC, OR, TX and VA. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL, if you prefer a hybrid option.
What You'll be Doing

  • HRIS Champion: Support Dayforce HRIS configuration, integrations, workflow optimization, trouble shooting, and user role security changes. Your expertise will keep our systems running smoothly. Support and act as internal consultant to HR leadership and business leaders to understand the desired metrics and HR data reporting required across the organization. Provide support to the HR team in the areas of workforce metrics, mass data loads, integrations and ad hoc reporting. Troubleshoots HRIS data issues and offers guidance to staff when issues arise. Support implementation, upgrades, testing protocols and changes according to business and HR needs. Ensure delivery, documentation and support of configuration and integration/interfaces for both new functionality and enhancements.
  • Data Expert: the go-to person for ad-hoc reporting, turn data into actionable insights that drive HR strategy. Develop and maintain standards and controls to ensure employee data integrity and compliance. Conduct regular system audits to ensure data quality and integrity. Generate reports using Dayforce and tools like Tableau or Power BI to that highlight efficiencies, trends, and areas for improvement. Focus on data analysis to spot trends, edge cases and exceptions to established data entry standards.
  • Project Support: Assist in implementing HRIS projects, from managing project tasks to coordinating test plans and tracking milestones. Your organizational skills will shine!
  • Tech Partner: Collaborate with HR Leadership, IT, and internal stakeholders to develop tech solutions that streamline and automate HR processes.
  • Problem Solver: Serve as the escalation point for system issues, ensuring quick and effective resolutions. Provide necessary training to end users to increase their effectiveness and ability to use HR systems. Engage and consult with end users regularly to understand system issues and offer business solutions.
  • Continuous Improver: Execute mass updates with precision, ensuring thorough validation before and after changes.
  • Relationship Builder: Interact effectively with HR Leadership, team members, and staff at all levels to build and maintain positive relationships. Maintain partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization, providing stakeholders with regular reporting and analytics.
  • Integration Specialist: Oversee integration efforts for Dayforce HRIS, including flat file loads, mass data changes, and system-to-system integrations. Manage API integrations and custom interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow between systems. Collaborate with HR and IT teams to implement new functionality and enhancements and ensure thorough testing protocols are followed for all integrations. Maintain documentation, troubleshoot integration issues, and provide ongoing support to ensure data integrity and smooth system operations.


About You

  • 8-10 years of experience in HRIS administration, configuration, integration management and reporting in an enterprise level HCM system.
  • 3+ years experience working in an HR function.
  • 3+ years experience supporting/leading a full global implementation of an enterprise level
  • Experience implementing global HRIS systems.
  • Experience with and driven by continuous process improvement and efficiency.
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to solution multiple alternatives.
  • Strong ability to analyze data to determine the answer, solution, or find the problem.
  • Strong technical skills in data management administration, data imports and exports, API and flat file integrations and integrated HR systems.
  • Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Advanced XML.
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic ecosystem with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with highly confidential information and maintain discretion.
  • Very strong working knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices, and how they relate to HRIS functionality and data.
  • Significant experience implementing systems and integrating existing/new systems.

*Due to operational policies, NinjaOne is unable to hire for this role within the city limits of Chicago. We will consider all qualified candidates who reside outside of the city proper or are willing to self-relocate.
