Who we are looking for
Cutting Dynamics is looking for an HR Specialist to join our growing team. The HR Specialist will provide support to the Human Resources Department on all human resource and employment matters and assists with payroll functions.
What you will get to do
- Exposed to all human resources procedures and assists with tasks throughout all areas of the HR department.
- Use HRIS system, payroll system and other HR related automated systems.
- Assists employees with employment, payroll, insurance and other related questions.
- May provide front office coverage, directing incoming calls and visitors to the appropriate departments.
- Performs a variety of HR administrative functions.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing and hiring
- Help with new hire orientation and onboarding
- Processes employment paperwork/ issues security badges/ and maintains active employee files.
- Verifies I-9 documentation
- Aides benefit enrollment for eligible employees.
- Aides in company wide communication of information.
- Maintain strong working relationship with all departments
- Assists with special projects and employee engagement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the team
- Minimum 2 years of similar or related experience
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred or High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum 2+ years experience with HRIS and Payroll systems required
- Minimum 2+ years experience with new hiring and onboarding preferred
- Experience with interviewing and recruiting, preferred
- Experience with employee benefit management
- Familiarity with HR laws and procedures
- Familiarity with staffing, developing, succession planning
- Experience with Human Resources reporting
