The Project & Opportunity:
HumeLink East involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with the design and construction of 230km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West. For this project, we are looking for an Administrator to join the HR team at our main office in Darling Square.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including managing correspondence, scheduling, and record-keeping.

  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and HR documentation as required by the team.

  • Assist in managing employee queries, providing accurate information or directing them to the appropriate team member.

  • Support the planning and execution of HR initiatives and events, such as employee engagement activities.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment on HR-related matters.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within an HR or similar environment.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.

  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all HR matters.
