Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a HR Project Manager (Contract) to join our Human Resources team in Herndon, VA.
The HR Project Manager will support the HR M&A team in North America in HR business strategy and initiatives. The project manager will ensure that all HR Projects identified for 2024 and 2025 have the relevant support in terms of Project Management and measure of the progress / performance with dedicated KPIs. The project manager will closely collaborate with stakeholders and senior members to assist with change evolution.

Your Challenges:

Provide HR project management for large and medium sized crossfunctional projects including responsibility for the talent strategy, resource planning, risk management, and other initiatives

Establish and maximize internal and external partnerships, including HR, regulatory bodies, operations, and community affairs

Analyze, visualize, and present data and results
-
Create reports and dashboards to support strategic objectives
-
Lead individual project tasks/activities to ensure operational readiness
-
Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained for all project activities, including updating project management tools

Establish and maximize internal and external partnerships, including HR and Operations
-
Collaborate with the leadership team to communicate change
-
Identify gaps and recommend processes, training and development
Your Boarding Pass:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
-
7+ years of experience managing HR projects
-
Advanced knowledge of change management principles and practices
-
Written, presentation and oral communication, interpersonal and consultative skills, as well as effective result-oriented problem solving skills
-
Proficiency in project management tools and software
-
Experience working within GSuite (Docs, Slides, etc)
-
Experience with HRIS and recruiting tools like SAP and Workday , preferred
-
Authorized to Work in the US
This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.
