We are seeking a highly skilled experienced and results-driven HR Process & Compliance Implementation Manager, playing a pivotal role in leading and driving process and compliance initiatives ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. This role involves working with a wide range of collaborators to identify compliance gaps at the country level across the LATAM region , designing targeted implementation projects, and driving their execution in collaboration with HR, Legal, Operational and Functional teams.
The ideal candidate will possess strong HR process and project management experience, excellent communication skills, and a consistent track record of leading successful HR process projects that drive impact.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Gap Analysis: Evaluate and identify compliance gaps for Latam countries by analyzing existing processes and regulatory requirements in close partnership with our Americas Employment Legal and HR Compliance Leads
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Employee Success (HR), Business Technology, and other relevant functional teams to understand requirements, assess gaps, align on priorities, design end-to-end process solutions and controls, and guide the documentation of mitigation efforts
  • Project Setup & Program Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, define breakthroughs, and handle end-to-end delivery of compliance projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborative Execution: Identify and bring together strong project teams, including subject matter experts and decision-makers, to jointly develop project plans, agree on achievements and decision points, and deliver program outcomes, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • End-to-End Process Design: Collaborate with partners and SMEs across the value stream to map current and future-state processes, ensuring compliance requirements are identified and integrated for a more streamlined workflow
  • Control Points and Frameworks: Identify, design and implement the optimal control points in our HR processes to ensure early detection of operational risks, blocking issue, remediation and overall visibility of compliance adherence
  • Collaborator Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with HR, legal, operational and functional teams to ensure smooth execution of compliance projects and alignment with business needs.
  • Prioritisation: Define and set up regular operating rhythms to track progress, prioritize initiatives based on local requirements, and regularly deliver timely and concise reporting on HR compliance progress
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular, clear, and concise updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes to collaborators, including senior leadership
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential compliance risks through close collaboration with local Employee Success and functional teams, and implement corrective actions to address them effectively.
  • Gap Identification: Work with local Employee Success teams to identify HR-related compliance gaps or conflicts in existing processes and identifying their business impact
  • Process Excellence: Champion and integrate "Compliance By Design" principles into all new projects, initiatives, and systems.
  • Driving Ownership: Act as the liaison operational, HR, and functional teams to ensure a seamless compliance process, with clearly defined roles and responsibilities, and ensure the ownership of embedded processes is assigned to the appropriate team
  • Change Readiness: Conduct thorough assessments of organizational readiness for change, identify potential barriers and risks, and develop mitigation plans in alignment with project team members. Provide ongoing guidance and support to local teams ensuring consistent application and adoption of changes
  • Sustainability: Partner with Employee Success teams to design HR-related compliance communications, training, education, and other enablement efforts to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Metrics & Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implementations, by way of introducing and compliance KPIs and metrics to measure success and impact

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project/Programme Manager or HR Operational leader, managing large-scale, sophisticated compliance programs within matrixed organizations, with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Ability to lead end-to-end process design by collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts to map current and future-state workflows, identify compliance requirements, and implement streamlined, efficient processes.
  • Extensive experience testing and supervising HR-related business processes, collaboratively developing remediation plans, and documenting improvements.
  • In-depth knowledge of complex HR-related statutory, regulatory, collective, industry, and/or professional compliance standards, with a focus on LATAM-specific countries.
  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, capable of inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey sophisticated concepts effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving expertise, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, delivering results within tight deadlines.
  • Skilled in facilitating solution design workshops and creating end-to-end process documentation and flowcharts for compliance initiatives.
  • Resilient and adaptable in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience collaborating with Unions, employee committees and external vendors on compliance and legal matters (advantageous).
  • Industry-recognized project management and/or change management qualifications (advantageous).
  • Consulting experience with a consistent record of delivering transformation programs within HR functions (advantageous).
  • Proficient in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
  • Familiarity with Workday and designing compliance solutions within the platform (advantageous).
