Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an HR people analytics specialist who could progress/lead some of the People analytics initiatives, pursuing three distinct objectives:

Strengthen data governance and consolidation: In close cooperation with HR Information System team, help to implement robust data models and governance structures to ensure data integrity, security, and appropriate access controls across the organization. Improve the quality and comprehensiveness of Swift people data.

Enhance informed decision-making: Equip HR Professionals (HR business partners, Talent acquisition specialists, Learning and Development experts, ..) with actionable insights derived from People data, fostering data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. Extend the access to HR key stakeholders, starting with people leaders: members of the Executive Committee, Agile chapter leads and/or managers.

Improve HR department effectiveness and efficiency: Optimize HR processes and operational workflows through data-driven insights, aiming to increase the efficiency of HR functions and enhance overall departmental performance.
The HR People Analytics team is gearing up to launch operations in the first quarter of 2025. This new team will play a key role in advancing our data-driven HR strategies. As part of this team and reporting to the People Analytics Lead (based in EMEA: Belgium), you’ll contribute to implementing our People Analytics roadmap and refining business requirements to maximize user impact. In this role, you will:

Lead foundational projects that strengthen our HR data governance framework.

Further articulate our data analytics roadmap, and implement it in an agile way (minimal viable product followed by improvements) leveraging existing data visualization tools to start (Workday)

Collaborate closely with HR teams, the HR Information System team, and the Swift IT Workday Centre of Expertise.

Engage with senior stakeholders across the organization, fostering alignment and driving change management initiatives.

Champion data integrity principles and ensure adherence to HR data governance policies.

Promote a data-driven mindset within the organization, supporting a culture of evidence-based decision-making.
We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver with exceptional analytical skills, a passion for People data, a knack for stakeholder engagement, and the ability to thrive in a global, collaborative environment. A level of proficiency in data visualization tool is an asset. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a transformative capability within Swift.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing the Analytics roadmap: Help execute the People Analytics roadmap, refining business requirements to maximize value for HR and people leaders.

Analyze and present workforce data: Analyze HR data to uncover workforce trends, support performance metrics, and aid in understanding employee engagement.

Support data Governance: Contribute to the maintenance of a data governance framework, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across HR systems.

Engage in cross-functional projects: Assist in projects that enhance HR analytics capabilities and explore ways to integrate new technologies.

Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner with teams (e.g. ESG team for EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive projects) to identify data needs and deliver insights that inform decision-making.

Promote a data-driven Culture: Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization, contributing to a culture of data literacy within HR.

Work with Agility: Operate with agility, contributing to projects aligned with quarterly cycles followed by the Agile team.

Build Relationships and knowledge networks: Network within and outside the organization to learn, benchmark, and contribute to advancing the People Analytics capability.
Qualifications/Professional skills requirements:

Educational Background: University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree is an asset.

Analytics skills: Minimum 3 to 5 years in business analysis, analytics insight generation (ie analyse data sets with business analysts and extract meaningful insights to drive business decisions) and data visualization

Data visualization tools affinity

Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Change Management: Experience in managing change initiatives and fostering a data-driven culture within an organization is an asset

Working experience in an Agile environment, UX (user experience) and HR teams as an asset
