The HR Operations team is responsible for the full employee lifecycle from new joiner onboarding, through all changes that might happen during an employee’s time with the company, such annual pay review, changes to role or transfers of department or country, maternity or paternity leaves, sick leaves etc. through to termination of employment. We are also involved in the lifecycle of non-employees such as contractors. This is a varied and interesting role where you will be supporting employees and line managers across the globe and therefore needing to operate within a variety of different employment legal jurisdictions.
What will I be delivering ?
This role will be responsible for the Lifecycle and Exit service offering across our offices globally and the role will include:
-Processing all employee lifecycle activities requested by line managers, employees and HR Business Partners such as maternity / paternity leave, changes to role or department etc, preparing the appropriate documents and updating the HRI system (Work Day).
-Processing termination cases, both voluntary and involuntary, creating the leaver documentation, updating the HRI system and ensuring that all stakeholders such as IT, the leaver and the line manager are aware of dates and their responsibilities.
-Monthly Payroll administration, working hand in hand with Finance to ensure that key information such as joiners, leavers, employee changes are processed by Payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
-Global benefits administration including responding to employee questions.
-Managing non-standard leave updates in the HRI system and responding to leave questions from employees.
-Being the first point of contact for employees regarding HR topics such as policy questions and either responding or passing on the question to the appropriate person and keeping the employee informed.
-Supporting the annual pay review process and off-cycle salary increases by use of mail merge and emailing letters to line managers and employees.
-Monitoring visa expiry cases and informing the HR BP in a timely manner and tracking to ensure that the visa is extended or the employee is terminated.
-Supporting HR BPs and other HR colleagues with ad hoc requests
-Auditing key data to ensure the HRI system is 100% accurate.
-Production of current and ex-employee reference letters.
-Involvement in ad hoc projects
-Continuous improvement initiatives
What will I bring to the role ?
• Degree in HR or similar qualification
• IT literate (HRIS & MS Office)
• HR Operations experience
• HR Shared Services experience would be an advantage, ideally in a corporate environment
• Fluent spoken and written English language skills
• Exposure to other HR disciplines would be an advantage
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously but also as part of a team
• A friendly, helpful manner with good stakeholder management skills
• Able to remain calm under pressure
• Able to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Risk management awareness / good risk ‘radar’
• Be customer-focused and understand what a positive customer experience looks like.
