Your role in our team
As HR Manager Belgium, you'll own the local HR strategy and execution — from talent planning and leadership development to compliance and HR operations. You’ll partner directly with our Managing Director Belgium, business leaders, and HR teams across the region. You’ll also lead and coach our Belgium HR & Payroll Specialist and be a key member of the Benelux & Nordics HR team.
This is a highly visible role where your expertise in people, processes, and partnerships will make a real difference.
The position in a nutshell
In this role, you will:
- Lead and execute the Belgium people agenda based on our global HR strategies and local needs.
- Partner with People Managers on team development, succession planning, talent growth, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure legal and labor compliance, maintaining excellent relationships with our Works Council, Trade Unions, and external partners.
- Translate HR metrics and trends into clear advice and actions for leadership.
- Coach managers in day-to-day people matters with an empathetic and business-savvy approach.
- Support the local Talent Acquisition specialist and oversee the smooth operation of HR administration.
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in a matrixed, international environment.
- Proven skills as a trusted advisor and partner to leadership.
- Strong understanding of Belgian labor law and experience working with Works Councils and Unions.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with a pragmatic and strategic mindset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken); French is a plus.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
