What's exciting about the role

This position reports to the Senior LATAM Human Resources Manager and works closely with management in implementing corporate policies related to human resources, organizational development, and employee development at the business unit or division level. The role involves consulting with employees and managers to address the root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Additionally, the position participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, workforce planning, and organizational change). This position plays a key role assisting senior management in developing solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. 

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between employees and the organization within the respective region, coordinating regional operations while upholding compliance standards and fostering positive employee relations.
  • Provide thorough guidance and give direction to compliance and compensation & benefits topics, including employment laws, regulations, and HR policies, to HR Business Partners, managers, and employees.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners overseeing the effects of business changes in the region and acting as a strategic partner when implementation is required at the Employee Relations Manager level.
  • Work closely with the HR Operations team to support transactional activities throughout the HR and employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and data management.
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations Managers, maintaining the Compliance Framework, sharing best practices and driving consistency in HR initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze employee relations metrics and trends, identifying areas for improvement and developing proactive strategies.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to managers on various HR compliance topics and employee relations (sick leave, terminations etc.) to enhance understanding and adherence to HR policies.
  • Drive and/or participate in strategic HR projects aimed at enhancing employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of employee relations experience.
  • Excellent working English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Spanish speaker will be a plus.
  • Strong experience in partnering with various key stakeholders and being an effective team player.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities and abilities to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
